Sours are short drinks with lime or lemon juice. Delicious cocktails and which are both, good starters and great final round drinks for nice get-togethers.

Whiskey Sour with peppermint in a tumbler glass.
Sours you can prepare with many different base spirits, very well known and especially delicious are gin sour, Amaretto Sour and Whiskey Sour. It's most common to serve them in tumbler glasses.

Gin Sour with cocktails cherry in a tumbler glass.
Most of the sours taste faintly acid, that's intended, however they are well balanced and harmonious. E.g. Aperol Sour and Amaretto Sour taste even a bit sweetish. The base spirit is only refined with lemon juice, the rich flavours do still come into one's own.
Sours are rather for men than for women. A good juice for everybody who likes faintly sour drinks.
Cheers!
