Description
Pimm's No.1 (or Pimm's No.1 Cup) is a famous summer drink from Great Britan that consists of Pimm's and lemon soda. A garnish of cucumber should not be missed, that's the distinguishing mark of that delicious highballs cocktail.
Pimm's is a bitter liqueur, made of gin, quinine (well known from tonic water) and a secret mixture of seasonings. Mixed with lemon soda or ginger ale results a sweet and palatable drink with modest bitter taste notes of Pimm's.
Pimm's No. 1 contains just under 7 % of alcohol, that's well tolerated by most people. A drink for many occasions, especially women like it.

Pimm's and ice cubes
Start with placing Pimm's and 5 ice cubes in your glass.

Serving
Now fill it up with lemon soda or ginger ale. Add a slice of cucumber, a slice of lemon and put peppermint on top. Serve it immediately ice cold with a black straw.

Serve Pimm's No. 1 Cup in long-drink glasses with cucumber, lemon and pepermint decoration.
Long-drink glasses are most appropiate for Pimm's No. 1. Don't forget to add cucumber, lemon and peppermint. Out of that you could create additional decorations like e.g. a lemon slice for the glass rim. Add a black straw, that helps a lot to drink it with all the decoration.
