Manhattan is a spicy mixture that consists of whiskey, vermouth and Angostura Bitter. A beautiful and strong short-drink which is rather for men then for women.
Whiskey is refined by white or red vermouth. A dash of Agostura bitter completes the taste, a spicy, a bit harsh but harmonic drink.
Best presentation of Manhattan is in a Martini glass with a cocktail cherry. The amber colours of whiskey along with a cherry looks very enjoyable.
A good choice in autumn, after a meal or as a last round drink.

Method: Shaking with ice cubes

Place whiskey, vermouth and Angostura Bitter along along with 2-3 ice cubes in a cocktail shaker and shake it hard.
